At the designated routine visit, the dentist deals exclusively with tooth hygiene, i.e., removal of dental plaque and explains to the child and parents the important role of proper dental care at home.
We also show the child the right way to brush and use dental floss. Where necessary, a relevant educational DVD is also presented.
We also evaluate the child’s diet and provide advice on poor eating habits or other bad oral habits.
Fluoride treatments are applied every 4 – 6 months according to the needs of each patient. Patients with orthodontic braces less than sixteen years of age, can visit our dental hygienists to check their oral hygiene and for fluoride treatment, both of which are even more necessary during orthodontic treatment.
