Radiographic Checking

Radiographic testing is just as important and necessary as clinical examination in order to have a complete and accurate dental diagnosis. During the routine examination and if deemed necessary by the dentist, X-rays are obtained. Many times teeth that look completely healthy can develop interproximal cavities. In fact, these cavities may be too deep and very close to the nerve of the tooth and cannot be traced only by the clinical examination.
