Dr Petros Kokkinos, DDS, Special Orthodontist

Dr Petros Kokkinos received his dental education from Athens university school of dentistry and completed his orthodontic residency program at Louisiana State University ( LSU) school of dentistry in New Orleans USA. He ,later on ,completed his second specialisation in Craniomandibular Orthodontics and Occlusion medicine in San Francisco -USA.
He is a visiting lecturer at the postgraduate orthodontic residency program at the school of dentistry of LSU in New Orleans -USA and a full time practitioner.
His field of expertise is : 1)the treatment of symptomatic dysfunctional patients ( Temporomandibular joint sounds, pain in the joints, limitations in opening, frequent headaches, migraine, tinnitus, chronic neck pain etc )
2) the non surgical treatment of patients with severe skeletal discrepancies ,whose treatment could only be done with orthographic surgery in the conventional orthodontic approach
3) Prevention and correction of severe skeletal discrepancies in children and elimination of the need of possible future surgical correction.
He is one of the founders of Kokkinos smile clinic which specialises in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
He lectures nationally and internationally and published numerous articles in internationally known journals.

Dr. Niki Kokkinou, DDS

Dr. Niki Kokkinou studied Dentistry in the University of Athens and received her diploma as a Dental Surgeon in 1988. She received her degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the Louisiana State University in 1993. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant clinical professor in the above university.
During her studies at LSUMC, she was awarded with the Ralf Mcdonald award for the best research project in the US in Pediatric Dentistry for the year 1994. She served as President of the Cyprus Pediatric Dentistry society for the years 2010-2016 and European councilor of Cyprus to the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for the years 2015-2019.

In 2023, she was honoured with the International ICD Fellowship title, thereby recognizing her dedication and long-standing activity in the activities of Pediatric Dentistry in Cyprus and in Europe.

Dr. Despo Soteriou, DDS, MsC

She studied Dentistry at the University of Athens and received her diploma as a Dental Surgeon in 2005. She received her specialization degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Athens in 2010 and her post graduate diploma in the same subject (MsC) in 2011. In combination with her studies, she worked as a scientific partner at the same university.
She received the 1st research award for postgraduate students – Pediatric Department of Athens based on the following topic «Clinical performance and survival of fixed space maintainers: A 7 – year retrospective cohort investigation».

Dr. Eleni Siamplettou

She studied dentistry at the 1st Medical School of the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. She continued her education at the University of New York in the postgraduate program of Advanced Dentistry where she focused on aesthetic dentistry and implant restoration. Dr. Siamplettou is trained in the field of Craniomandibular Dentistry (Functional Dentistry) to treat occlusal and craniomandibular dysfunctions.

Dr. Siamplettou is responsible for the treatments at the Teenagers’ clinic.
